Balakrishnan] ï ഇനി ഞാൻ ഉറങ്ങട്ടെ [words PDF] read Online ï You Definitely recommended for people who like to read Mahabharat related books and those who loved "Randamoozham" and "Bharathaparyadanam".
The story flows in two threadsone about Karna and the other about Draupadi.
Karna portion is mainly depicted as flashbacks and stays true to Mahabharat while Draupadi's portion has authors own interpretations and extrapolations.
All the war scenes are described masterfully and the final battle between Arjun and Karna is just EPIC.

There`s nothing like `Absolute Truth` as such.
In fact, same truth has got different shades for different people.
And we miss the real meaning among these versions.
The purest form always remains imperceivable!
I don't know what exactly makes this book my all time favourite.
It has got a rare grace that permeates the words.
Definitely recommended for people who like to read Mahabharat related books and those who loved "Randamoozham" and "Bharathaparyadanam".

In an epic filled to the brim with complex and interesting characters, most writers take a fancy to Karna.

There is so much meat that an imaginative writer can dig out of from his life of complexities, contradictions, valour and tragedy.

Balakrishnan’s book was one of the first works in Malayalam I read that told of the epic from Karna’s perspective and at that time it completely bowled me over.
My first and only read of this book was almost 12 years ago and the only images I can recollect with any clarity is the beauty of Balakrishnan’s language and also his prestidigitation skills at reimagining the horrific aftermath of the 18 In an epic filled to the brim with complex and interesting characters, most writers take a fancy to Karna.

Life of karna explained through the eyes of Droupathi, dharmaputhra Yudhishtira.

It brings a new Perspective of Mahabharatha especially life of karna and Droupathi.

A must read for all Brilliant .

Though the old Malayalam with high funda words made it a tough read the story and the philosophy was awesome.
.
The story is told with justice to Vyasa's Mahabharata.
Karna's life is narrated in flasbacks to Draupadi through the memories of various people including KundiDevi, Krishna and Satyaki.
It is about Draupadi's Life as much as Karna's.
I especially liked the part where Draupadi reflects that the Dharma of her husbands did not prevent them from killing Ashwathama, Duryodhana and even Karna by deciet whereas the same Dharma had tied their hands when she Draupadi was dragged semi nude to the court by Dushaasana.
One of the best book I have read.

Yes, it's about karna.
Karna is the main character in this book, but Draupadi is also an important character.

I will have to read this book again to understand the whole meaning.

Many times I badly wanted to check the meaning of the words, but as I didn't have one I had to guess the meaning.
Yes, I know it's my mother tongue, but I found so many new words in this book.

There are so many instances where the author has clearly stated how fate is unfair with human.
Yes, fate is unfair with us.

Such was the case with karna and draupadi.

After reading this book, in my mind karna has become the hero.
Before it arjuna and bhima.
< Must read for everyone who likes the character of Karna in Mahabharata.
The story is told from
Draupadi s perspective but the hero of the novel is karnan.
Any mythology lover will like this for sure.
Á ഇനി ഞാൻ ഉറങ്ങട്ടെ ☆ What can I say about the Mahabharata! The Epic of all epics.
My memory is hazy but I think Rajagopalachari’s very accessible translation was my first Tamil book.
Probably my favourite epic and one that has shaped my world view.
So, when I spotted this book at the book fair this year, I promptly bought it.
I really envy those who got to read this in Malayalam.
The Tamil translation is superlative, but it hints at the richness of the original.

The story starts on the last day of the bloody war where Duryodana lies on the banks of a lake, his life ebbing away, thigh broken by Bhima’s angry mace.
Draupadi witnesses the fire that consumes her five children and her brother along with the entire Pandava army.
Yudhishtira realizes that they have killed Karna, their elder brother, and is enveloped in selfpity a One of the best books based on Mahabharata which I read.
This stands equal to, if not better than, Randamoozham by M.
T.
The novel narrates the incidents after the Kurukshetra war has ended.
Pandavas come to know that Karna, slain by Arjuna, was their own elder brother, who was the right heir to the throne.
From the depths of their sadness, Yudhistira and Draupati recall some incidents involving him and some, they get to know from others like Sanjaya, Krishna etc.
The image of Karna they had in their mind as their sworn enemy turns slowly into the image of a hero because of whose kindness, four of the Pandava brothers are still alive.
Draupati and Yudhistira are the second and third main characters in the novel after Karna.
Apart from analyzing the life of Karna through memories after his death, the author also tries to imagine the feelings and thoughts of both these My review herehttp://sibipranav.
